He later consolidated his image as the relentless “Dirty Harry” and made the definitive leap to the director’s chair with masterpieces such as “Unforgiven”, “Million Dollar Baby”, or “Gran Torino”. He has won four Oscars and numerous other awards for his sober, intense, and deeply human style. At over 90 years of age, he continues to direct and act, demonstrating a tireless passion for cinema. Interesting fact: in addition to acting and directing, he was also a musician and Mayor of Carmel, California, in the 1980s.
